Welcome to 3rd Grade!!!

I am so excited to be here at Shepherd for my seventh year.  I am a graduate of Concordia University @ Austin where I received a BA degree in Education/Early Childhood Ed. 

I taught second grade my first year at Shepherd and am thrilled to have been teaching third grade aside Susan Larssen since then. 

I love my children in my classes.  I believe that every child is a gift from God and has a special gift to share with us all.  They should be cherished always.  I always remember my own childhood as being the most important part of my life.  

My husband Danny and I are from Kerrville, TX (up the road) but have enjoyed living here in San Antonio with our daughter Madison(4 years)and son Darren (2 years).  We have really enjoyed our little blessing from God and have loved watching them grow.  We are also looking forward to the birth of our third child in October!!!   

I enjoy outdoor activities such as camping, fishing, and working in the yard.  Some of my hobbies are scrapbooking, playing with interior design, and gardening.  I also love playing with my two beagles Emma and Sadie.
