I have just begun my seventeenth year as an educator at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran School . If you are an older alumni, you may remember me as Miss Althage! In my first years at SHLS, I taught 1st and 2nd grades.  Since 1994, I have enjoyed sharing my love of music with 5K through 4th graders in general music classes that meet once a week, and with 5th grade choir students twice a week.  I am also our school's PSIA co-ordinator. PSIA stands for Private School s Interscholastic Association, which is similar to UIL. Every spring, our school participates in this academic competition. The preparations for this contest also serve as part of our enrichment program at SHLS.
