PROS program teacher

I am excited to be here at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran School for the first time. I enjoy working with students, their teachers and their parents to support what they are learning and to help them achieve their goals.

I have worked in public schools in the past, with PPCD and Pre-K programs, as well as Kindergarten inclusion. I have been home with my children the past few years. During that time, I had the opportunity to co-author a series of devotionals for girls ages 8-12, through the Faithgirlz series, part of Zondervan's child division, Zonderkidz. After being at home with my kids, I am ready to teach once again.

My wonderful husband, Jeff, is a middle school band director. I have two sweet children, Abby and Caleb. I enjoy reading, gardening and crafting in any spare time I have. We are members here at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, and I enjoy leading a ChristCare group as well as singing in the choir.

I am a native Iowan, with a degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa.
