Welcome to the 2008-2009 school year at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran School. Our theme for the year is “Amigos de Cristo”. I am excited to begin my second year as 1^st grade teacher at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran School. Previously I have taught Preschool 3’s through third grade at Lutheran schools in Austin, in the Hill Country, and in San Antonio.

In first grade, we will learn to read and write. We will learn to be great mathematicians adding and subtracting, and more about money, graphing, measuring, telling time, geometry, and problem solving . We will learn about people, communities, good citizenship, plants, animals, weather, moving & working, growing & changing. Best of all, we will learn about our best friend Jesus and His great love for us!
