2. Bring/have paper, pencils, books, and all needed supplies every day.
First graders are learning to be responsible. They will bring their Bulldog binder (Parent Communication) book every day. Since we have our very own school desks, we learn to organize and keep track of our supplies and books. We learn to keep our desk neat and clean so that we are ready to learn.
3. Keep hands, feet, books, and objects to yourself.
In first grade we learn that good listeners and learners do not distract themselves by playing with school supplies. They do not distract others through their actions.
4. Use Christ-like words and actions. Profanity, rude gestures, bullying, cruel teasing, or put-downs are not permitted.
This expectation is about how God expects us to treat others - parents, teachers, and friends.
5. Follow the directions of any adult working at Shepherd of the Hills.
First grade students understand that many adults work together at Shepherd of the Hills to help them learn, keep them safe, and provide nourishment (spiritual and physical) for them as they grow as Christian children.
