Welcome to the PROS program! 

PROS stands for Positive Reinforcement and Organizational Skills.  This is the place for extra academic help. Students are recommended for the program by teachers, with parent approval. Students with diagnosed disabilities and Individual Education Plans (IEPs) are helped first. Students with no diagnosis but are still low in reading or math are helped as well. PROS is mainly a pull-out program where students work on skills that are difficult for them. The PROS program is working toward more inclusion, which means that students are helped while staying in the classroom. No extra fees are charged to students who use PROS.

If parents or teachers believe a particular student needs testing for special education services, we work with Northside Independent School District (NISD) to get that done. Their criteria has to be met before testing is decided upon. Please contact me or NISD's Child Find program, 210-397-2461, for more information.
