"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." -- Philippians 4:13
Shepherd of the Hills sixth grade is the place to be ...
We are very busy learning our new schedules, meeting new friends, and renewing old friendships.
One of the exciting events of 6th grade is to attend an overnight trip to Camp Lone Star in October. This experience allows the students to learn more about themselves, each other, and especially their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
If social events are what you are looking for... look no further than SHLS. In October, SHLS sponsors the Ram Fest which is an annual event of fun, food, and fellowship. There are regularly scheduled socials exclusively for the Jr. High students to show off their dancing talents and mingle in an informal setting.
This year in Jr. High, the faculty has added a Midweek Medley of new and exciting areas of learning. On Wednesday of each week during the Arts and Smarts class time, the students will be attending special classes. Some of the topics include sewing, organization skills, note taking, line dancing, golf basic skills, and many more. The faculty is excited to be able to offer a variety of topics for our Jr. High Midweek Medley.
May God richly bless your day. Call or come by the campus for a visit. You are always welcome.
In His Service,
Mrs. Virginia Axtell
