The 2009-2010 school year closed with another fantastic concert by the Shepherd of the Hills Music Department! 

The Fifth Grade Band really outdid themselves by performing harder music than ever before, and performing it well.  The Junior High Band provided their best performance of the year.  The brand new Honor Band presented a fantastic inaugural concert.  The special guests - the Faculty Band - were the hit of the show! 

It is a pleasure to see how much growth the band members experience each year.  We are looking forward to another fantastic year in 2010-2011.

Mr. Urban will be attending the Texas Choral Director's Association Conference in July.  World-renowned composer John Rutter will be the featured clinician.  Mr. Urban will also be performing with the Boerne Concert Band and the Lone Star Swing Orchestra. 

In August, Mr. Urban will be leading a workshop for Texas District Lutheran School Technology Coordinators.
