1. Be in your assigned seat or area ready to work when class begins.
A band student's first job is to help to set up the chairs and stands for that day's rehearsal. Their second job is to assemble their instruments, store the cases safely, put their music in order, and begin warming up.
2. Bring/have paper, pencils, books, and all needed supplies every day.
Students need their folders, one or two sharp pencils, and instruments every day we have band (Monday - Thursday).
3. Keep hands, feet, books, and objects to yourself.
Do not play any instrument other than your own. Do take care of your instrument and treat the equipment in the rehearsal room with respect.
4. Use Christ-like words and actions. Profanity, rude gestures, bullying, cruel teasing, or put-downs are not permitted.
Christ-like words and actions should be evident in all aspects of a Christian's life.
5. Follow the directions of any adult working at Shepherd of the Hills.
Band students are expected to be respectful and cooperative towards all chaperones, substitutes, and guest conductors.
