Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Matthew 28:19-20
What a wonderful promise this verse holds! It also gives us our purpose for being here. Everyone is important and has a job to do in God's kingdom. Learning a second language is one way to make each of us more capable of sharing the love of Jesus with the world. Spanish classes at all levels provide opportunities for students to hear, speak, read and write in Spanish. We work to use our new knowledge of Spanish to spread the Word of God to people around the world. We have shared news about Jesus with people in Venezuela, Mexico and here in San Antonio using the Spanish we have learned.
