Welcome to 3rd Grade!!!

I am so excited to be here at Shepherd.  I am a graduate of Concordia University @ Austin where I received a BA degree in Education/Early Childhood Ed.  

I love my children in my classes.  I believe that every child is a gift from God and has a special gift to share with us all.  They should be cherished always.  I always remember my own childhood as being the most important part of my life.  

We have lots of learning going on here in third grade.  We take lots of neat field trips.  Some of our trips include Botanical Gardens, The Magik Children's Theatre, Mr. Gatti's for their neat fraction class, and much more!  In reading we read lots of really neat stories and novels.  The children enjoy doing projects, book reports, and group work in all subjects. 

Third graders also learn what it is like to help others in need.  They have collected coins for the Children's Shelter, can tabs for Ronald McDonald House, and much more.  We feel it is important to share Christ's love with others.  He has blessed us with so many wonderful blessings and we want to do His work.

We are very proud of our school and our third grade classes.
