Hello everyone,

 

   I am excited to be settling in for another great  year teaching Kindergarten here at SHLS.  I am blessed with their energy, their creativity and their pure sense of wonder every day.  We learn many things together here in Kindergarten….

 

-         We learn that letters like to rest on the red line and don’t like to float above the blue line. 

-         We learn that yellow and blue make green and that red and blue make purple oooohhhhh purple!!!!!

-         We learn that Jesus is our friend and he is always there to help us do the right thing, and forgive us when we don’t. 

-         We learn to share and respect the feelings of our friends.

-         We learn to sort, count, tell time by the hour, place objects on a graph, we learn about coins and their values and soooo much more.  But the most important thing we learn every day is worth repeating again.  Jesus is our friend and he is always there to help us do the right thing, and forgive us when we don’t.

 

 

    I am truly blessed to care for, teach, and learn many things from these beautiful children as we grow together this year.  I know we will have an exciting time, full of fun exploration.
