This is my twenty-ninth year at Shepherd of the Hills! It has been an amazing journey, full of wonderful students, parents and memories. I praise God for the opportunity to serve Him in this terrific ministry! These days you can find me in a Four Year Old Kindergarten classroom - quite a level change! If you are an alumni, you may remember me as your second grade teacher, technology teacher, PROS teacher, fifth grade teacher, or if you are getting up in years, your Kindergarten or First Grade teacher!

After receiving my B.A. from Concordia College in River Forest, IL in elementary education and early childhood education, I taught first grade for one year at Our Savior, New Orleans, LA, then was called to Shepherd of the Hills. A few years ago I received my Master's Degree from UTSA in Special Education. I am currently working on another degree in Curriculum and Instruction. When I am not planning for my Four Year Olds, I'm enjoying some time with my amazing family - my wonderful husband, sons and their wives, and now four grandchildren. My other favorites are my dogs - a beautiful purebred collie and a very motherly Australian Shepherd, and travelling in our 5th Wheel Camper with my hubby. We're on a quest to see every National Park in America.

My prayer each day is that somehow God can use me to be a blessing to someone.
