“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13
Welcome to Shepherd of the Hills Junior High-Sixth Grade. The start of Junior High can be a bit intimidating, but if we keep in mind that our Lord gives us the strength to accomplish all things to His glory, then it can also be very exciting!
These are a few of the fun things we do in sixth grade:
- Lockers
- Bible discussions in Religion class
- New concepts and investigations in Math
- Arts and Smarts
- Junior High Chapel
- Camp Lone Star - overnight field trip
- Socials
- New friends
The theme for the 2010-2011 academic school year is “God Attitudes Win!” We will be exploring new monthly topics which will guide us through God’s Word and help us to adopt these winning attitudes in our daily lives.
I look forward to working with each student as they grow and mature in their relationship with Christ, in their academics, and in their personal lives. It is a blessing for me to be able to walk with students as they put on their “God Attitudes” for a winning school year!
