Jr. High Servant Event & Schlitterbahn - register TODAY!

Being transformed by God is an ongoing process no matter the age of the individual! The Jr. High Years bring LOTS of change and transformation. Through the Transformed retreat experience, students will:
Meet other Jr. High Youth their age from around San Antonio while having fun through games and other social activities
Focus on Bible studies based on Romans 12:1-2, the Transformed theme
Have an opportunity to serve others in our community through local service projects
We’ll have a fun day at Schlitterbahn!
DCE Vanessa Seifert, DCE Tommy Moll, of Crown of Life, and DCE Angie Erickson, of Cross-New Braunfels, will be the primary Adult Leaders. Other Youth Leaders will team with Vanessa, Tommy, and Angie.
Rough Schedule (subject to change):
Thursday Evening—Retreat Begins—parents drop off students at Crown of Life for getting to know you games, Bible Study, and more fun (NO dinner provided—only late snacks). Sleeping will happen in Crown of Life’s Family Life Center-separate rooms.
Friday—Servant Events in the community-Mission Luterana and possibly Abundant Grace Lutheran Church, food, games, Bible Study. The Shepherd Bus will drive us.
Saturday—ALL DAY Schlitterbahn fun, food, PTP at Shepherd, games, Bible Study. The Shepherd Bus will drive us.
Sunday—Worship at Crown of Life, Closing Bible Study. Retreat ends before lunch-Parents pick up students at Crown of Life.
A Student must participate in the entire retreat to go to Schlitterbahn with the group.
How Do I Register?
Space is limited—sign up today by :
- Sign-UP at the Jr. High Table in the Church Lobby
Fill Out the Registration Form in brochure found at Jr. High Ministry table in church lobby and include $75—return to Vanessa no later than Sunday, May 27
Price goes up to $85 after May 27
Once you register, Vanessa will give you parent signature forms & other paperwork
ALL paperwork due to Vanessa no later than Sunday, June 3.
