Route 56

Designed specifically for 5th and 6th graders in mind, Route 56 helps young students discover the journey of faith that we are on. 5th and 6th grade is a unique time that is neither fully "Children's Ministry" nor is it fully "Confirmation Ministry." It's a ministry where the kids can still be kids, but do so at a level that speaks directly to them as 10-, 11-, and 12-year-olds. The ministry will include Sunday School, social events, and service events, capping the year off with a weekend retreat just for 5th and 6th graders.

Route 56 falls under the umbrella of "Student Ministry" so details pertaining to everyone in the Student Ministry will include students and families who are a part of Route 56.

Route 56 Sunday School - Meets in Room 203, which is the computer lab on the second floor of the School Building. Sunday School hour is 9:30 - 10:30 AM every Sunday except for Christmas, New Years, and Easter.

Special Events

We have several special events that occur outside Sunday mornings that your child can participate in order to experience fellowship with other believers and serve the community. Events include:

Service projects, like serving at the Food Bank, the Humane Society, or at Shepherd
Social events, like Laser Tag, pool parties, and other exciting events
A weekend retreat exclusively for 5th and 6th graders
