Greetings in the name of our risen Savior, Jesus Christ!

I serve as the Director of School Ministry at Shepherd of the Hills and it is my blessing to serve as the pastor to our school students and their families. I lead our School Chapel Worship Service every Wednesday at 8:15 a.m. Visitors are always welcomed to join us in uplifting praise and worship of our living God. I also teach 8^th grade religion classes, lead faculty devotions, and work with our students on a variety of issues facing them in their young lives.

On Saturdays at 6:00 p.m., I help lead our Prime Time Praise (PTP) worship service. PTP is a contemporary worship service centered on God’s Word and accompanied by upbeat and reflective music. I am excited to be partnering with Pastor Chris Kennedy to help lead 'CrossWalk' - a new contemporary service that will be held at 11:00a.m. on the 2nd Sunday every month starting September 13.

I also oversee SHLC's Sunday School program. Our theme this year is "G.L.O.W" (God Lights Our Way). Children, ages 2 - 5th grade meet every Sunday morning at 9:30 on Sunday mornings in the school cafeteria for a rousing opening of singing and fun. Sunday School is held from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.

Prior to God’s leading me to Shepherd of the Hills, I enjoyed a 23-year career at USAA in San Antonio. I have a Bachelors degree in Business Mgmt. from OLLU, having also attended Texas A&M Univ. for 2 ½ years. In 2005, I completed my certification as a Commissioned Minister of Religion through the LCMS Colloquy Program.

My wife Nancy and I have been married 30 years, and are blessed with two wonderful sons: Aaron and Ryan.
