Pastor Chris Kennedy is associate pastor at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church. His responsiblities are diverse. Here are some ways he might serve you:
- To receive information on the church or become a member
- To get connected to our 20s/30s ministry
- To receive support during a difficult time
- To discuss issues pertaining to God and faith
- To have a Baptism performed
- To enroll a young person in Confirmation classes, in which we teach the basics of the Christian faith
- To receive pastoral care when entering the hospital
- To receive Holy Communion at home if a physical limitation keeps you from attending church

You'll see Pastor Chris involved around Shepherd of the Hills in many ways. Along with Pastor Dan, Pastor Chris preaches and leads worship at weekend services. He teams with Doug Bielefeldt, Director of School Ministry at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran School, on monthly CrossWalk contemporary services (11 a.m. second Sunday of the month in the gym). Pastor Chris leads school chapel on the last Wednesday of the month (8:15 a.m. in the Worship Center).

- Bachelor's degree in communication from Concordia University in Austin, Texas
- Master's of divinity degree from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri
- Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) credit earned at St. Louis University Hospital while serving as chaplain
- Vicarage (seminary internship) completed at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Kingwood, Texas
- Summer vicarage completed at Grace Lutheran Church in Arlington, Texas
