Hi! I’m Tim Eickstead, Director of Operations and Child Care Director at Shepherd of the Hills. It has been my pleasure to serve the Lord for 28 years at Shepherd. In the beginning I was Principal and taught anything from 1^st to 4^th grade. As the school program grew, I became the Principal and Child Care Director. It has been such a blessing to see thousands of families pass through our program over the years, many of whom have kept in touch by being a part of our church, high school, coming back to festivals or visiting, and now, through the beauty of technology, e-mail. Today, I humbly serve as the Director of Operations, working to link and develop the church and school to the greater glory of our Savior.

 

My first call was to Our Savior, New Orleans, where I taught fourth grade. After one year of experience, I was Called to become the principal of a budding school on the booming northwest side of San Antonio. It has been a tremendous journey and an awesome privilege.

 

I received my B.A. from ConcordiaCollege, River Forest, IL with a degree in Elementary and Secondary Education. My major was Social Sciences, with a minor in Psychology. My graduate work was in Administration from the University of Texas, San Antonio, completed in 1995.
